SCHOOL CLOSURE IN SHAH ALAM DUE TO COVID-19





SHAH ALAM - Tuesday, 27 April 2021. SHAH ALAM ( Following cases of Covid-19 infection in those schools, a total of 79 schools in Selangor have been ordered to close for two days, from April 28 to April 29. In a statement issued on Sunday, the Selangor State Education Department (JPN) announced the closure of 19 schools in the Hulu Langat district, 18 in Petaling Perdana, and 15 in Klang. A total of 27 schools in the districts of Petaling Utama, Sepang, Gombak, Hulu Selangor, and Kuala Langat have been ordered to close, according to the announcement.


Klang MP Charles Santiago announced that 15 schools in the city have been ordered to close for two days beginning Monday. According to him, the Klang District Education Office (PPD) released a closure order on Sunday to allow for eradication work and screening activities for close contacts. SMK Perempuan Sri Aman has announced the school's closure on Facebook.


“The PPD has ordered the closure of 15 schools in Klang.”


"There will be a two-day closure." He told Sinar Harian on Monday that the decision to extend the closure period will be made in two days.

Meanwhile, in a delivery on Sunday, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Perempuan Sri Aman told about the school's closure for two days beginning Monday. The school was closed for two days, according to the delivery, for sanitation and disinfection purposes, as well as to protect schoolchildren from the spread of Covid-19 cases.
